Welcome to my blog!
My name is Ewa, I live in the beautiful London Borough of Richmond with my husband and floors covered in carpets (#rentingNotOwning #notMyFault). And as you can tell from that one paragraph I have a weird sense of humor and I wholeheartedly agree with you.
I am a lifestyle and brand photographer.
This blog is something I wanted to start for quite a while now, but I guess it was Instagram downtime that happened last week that made me realize it’s a high time.
I hope this place won’t be boring
I want to bring you a value, share some tips and tricks how to look good on photos or how to use photos in your (big or small) business, I want to share all the shoots I am doing but within them I want to write about YOU – all the lovely people I meet during those shoots. I want to celebrate your trust to open yourself in front of my camera.
I’m usually also a bit shy, so unless I know you a bit better I won’t be the most energized person in the room, telling jokes all the time. And I think that’s only a good thing because I only know dry jokes.
I wrote a novel – it’s not published yet. I don’t even have a publisher yet but I do have an agent. I think that’s interesting trivia however please don’t get too excited about it – I’m pretty sure you won’t read it. Well, unless you know Polish.
I love dogs but I don’t have one (again… #rentingNotOwning). Cats do like me… sometimes. There’s this cute one on my street. I think we will be friends anytime soon.
That’s probably like the most boring stuff photographer can write about herself. Cats, dogs, carpets… But well… what I am writing here is truth and nothing but the truth, and I promise from now on it only gets better and instead of writing weird stuff about myself, I’ll stick to photography and photoshoots. Or… Mostly I will.
Thanks for being here, x
PS. As you probably can tell from the title of this post I am a fan of Closer, this movie from 2004 with Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts, Jude Law, and this second guy I never remember his name (I’m so sorry Mr Owen, I had to google you!). If you haven’t watched it, you should! It’s beautiful but also very sad.
PS2. I find the first post on any blog always embarrassing somehow. Bloggers (well… me) put lots of attention to it and then barely anyone sees it. So if you do, could you… perhaps… write to me a ‘Hi!’ in the comments down below? TIA <3
